Udvikling til heterogene mobilplatforme

Hos Dafolo forsøger vi at sætte nye standarder i Danmark for opsamling, udveksling og præsentation af data indenfor det offentlige.

Indenfor dette område ses store perspektiver i fremtiden med adgang til indrapportering af data fra en række forskellige mobile enheder.

Dafolo er Adobe Partner og vi baserer derfor i høj grad vores produkter på Adobes platform.

Herunder satser vi på AIR runtimet til at levere applikationer på tværs af enheder. Vi vil fortælle om hvilke fordele der gør at vi udvikler til AIR samt gennemgå værktøjer, sprog og SDK. Derudover vil vi komme ind på performance, UI/styling, multienheds arkitektur og perspektiver.

Striving for a client agnostic application architecture.

The market penetration of smart phones has changed the scene for application-architecture, -development and –deployment and that changes the shape of the overall application architecture. The result is often an expensive and  fragmented application architecture. The cause being implementation of these new client applications starts as a parallel implementation of existing logic, without considering a client agnostic server-side architecture.

Work is being done at the moment on such a client agnostic architecture at the moment, based on REST principles together with semantic principles for mapping domain classes and relations into a meaningful and clear API for  clients. Thus allowing multiple clients using the same application instance and thereby facilitating an effective overall architecture. The work and the principles of this work is the subject of the session. The abstraction level range in the session may span from architecture over model principles and mapping all the way to very concrete resource examples and implementation details.
